Quirky and fun. The owners and staff are incredibly nice and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We had one of the cabins along with our dogs and we all enjoyed our stay. Easy stroll to the beach access. We will see definitely visit the Anchor Inn again. Stayed: August 2015, traveled with friends.
If I could give Anchor 10 stars, I would. Total vintage charm with a hearty dose of quirky kitsch thrown in for good measure!
We had cabin #6, which is part of the old motor court motel. Look into the window next to this room (looks like sliding doors), and you’ll see a storage area and visible signs that this is where the car would park. Very cool. Our room was wonderful – living area, small kitchenette, bath and small bedroom. Everything retaining the look and feel of the 1940’s. Gorgeous woodwork / paneling throughout as well as great vintage decor. Our bed (queen) was quite comfortable and even had flannel sheets (we were there in early Oct). The kitchen cabinets had beautiful knobs- not sure if they were Bakelite or not. A full breakfast is served from 9-10am. A little late for us, but we had fun looking around the 1st floor- so much to see! The free popcorn and movies were a fun plus. If we’re ever in this part of Oregon again, the Anchor will be a must stop!

“We just had our wedding weekend here and it was amazing. The hotel is fun, weird and relaxing. All of our guests loved it. I would highly recommend this place for smaller weddings, gatherings and family reunions.”
